Treatment ends, but its cost does not. These awards help students who were treated for childhood cancer carry on into college, trade school or certification.
Looking for help with bills, not tuition?
These are scholarships for education. They are not how SKF helps with rent, utilities, fuel or groceries during treatment. If your family needs that kind of help, please speak to your social worker at Children’s Mercy or KU Med — they work with SKF directly and can put a request to us on your behalf.
